Thank you, voters!

The Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Recreation District 2 is overwhelmed with gratitude as we extend a heartfelt thank you to all the incredible individuals who have supported us throughout this campaign to renew our levy. Your unwavering dedication and support have made a significant impact on our community, and we are truly grateful.

On February 13, 68.94% of voters said "YES" to renewing the funding for Blaine and Birch Bay Park and Recreation District 2 for another six years!

From writing Letters to the Editor, to running committees, doing presentations, and even waving signs, your actions have not gone unnoticed. Each and every effort has contributed to making BBBPRD2 a stronger and more vibrant community.

It is because of your unwavering support that our levy has been approved, securing our funding for the next six years. With this approval, we can continue to provide activities and programs that benefit everyone in our community. We are grateful for the trust and confidence placed in us, and we are committed to using this funding responsibly and effectively. Together, we will continue to make a positive difference in our community and create a better future for all.

Thank you from all of us at BBBPRD2!

Illuminate Birch Bay this Saturday

The day is finally here! After having to reschedule this event back in January, we are excited to hold our very first luminary walk along the Birch bay berm this Saturday. Make or bring a lighted lantern and join us for a magical luminary walk along the berm. Bring your own homemade lantern to the Birch Bay Activity Center, and we'll place it along the path for you. Or bring your own lights and lanterns and walk with us. Meet at the Birch Bay Library at 6 p.m. for a cup of hot cocoa or warm cider, courtesy of Friends of Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Rec, or a cup of coffee from Sweet Nectar Beverage Trailer. Then, make your way along the berm and 600 lanterns all the way to Beach Cat Brewery and Shores Restaurant for drink specials, food and more!
