Message from the President
Dear Members,
Last week we sent out a survey regarding the restoration of our Sanctuary.  In addition to the many comments regarding design, colors, handicap access and the like we heard from many of you that it is time to get the project started.  So if you have not answered the survey or have any additional input now is the time.

We will be installing and upgrading our security system this month.  Cameras, lights, video, locks and signage will be installed to make Bnai Israel a harder target than in the past.  Unfortunately, no system is 100% effective, and the best deterrent will come from the awareness our own congregants.  It is important to be knowlegagble of our exits, and to always introduce yourselves to any unfamiliar faces that enter our building.
Further classes and seminars are being scheduled to make us more prepared for many situations as they arise.  Our hearts and prayers go out to every school, house of worship, and business that has suffered loss of life or injury from any of these attacks.

Shabbat Shalom,
See you in Shul,

Barry
