First, an apology to those of you that received emails with your follow-up survey's last Shabbat. The email was scheduled to be sent at 9:45PM, and inadvertently went out in the morning. Mea Culpa. It was never the intent to disrupt your Shabbat with this.
Having said that, the results from the Design Committee Survey are in and are being evaluated. Most importantly, of the 213 survey's that were sent out...we've had over 80 responses representing over 50% of our members. That's an amazing response for surveys and indicates a very involved and concerned Congregation. We are all very lucky to care as we do. Next week, we will publish the results, and begin to price the project to begin construction as soon as we have the go ahead that all the leaks, and potential water damage have been resolved. Thank you to all those that have worked so hard on this so far, and to all those that have shared their opinions and ideas.
Life at Bnai Israel goes on. So far this year Hal and Cindy Throne, Steve and Mindy Krasnipol, Joelle Serot, and Susan Turner have joined our Congregation. This weekend we celebrate the Freedland wedding. Our wonderful One Room Shul-House is winding down the school year, and we have just concluded the annual Wilmington Jewish Film Festival to rave reviews. Mazel Tov and Yasher Koach to all.
It's still not too late to join the Men's Club at Brooks Field on the UNCW Campus on Thursday night. It should be a beautiful night for a ball game. See the information below.
On a personal note...
Sunday is Mother's Day. This will be my first without a Mom to spend it with, call or have brunch with. Don't miss this opportunity to share your love and time with your loved ones and family.
See you in Shul,
