The Entrepreneurship Academy officially launched on May 13 with a full house for its first two sessions: Business Ideation and Legal Foundations – Business Structure. Entrepreneurs, aspiring & current business owners, and innovators gathered at City Hall for an engaging evening focused on transforming ideas into viable businesses through practical guidance, expert insight, and meaningful connections.

Workforce EDGE Training Program
Congratulations to the graduates of the five-week EDGE Program, an initiative focused on strengthening in-demand Microsoft Excel intermediate skills and advancing workforce readiness within Boynton Beach. Held at City Hall and delivered in partnership with Palm Beach State College (PBSC), the program provided participants with 20 hours of hands-on instruction and a PBSC Certificate of Completion. Special thanks to Baptist Health for generously providing laptops to eligible participants, helping expand access to professional development tools beyond the classroom. We celebrate the dedication of this graduating cohort and look forward to seeing how these newly strengthened skills contribute to future career growth and opportunity.

During a recent visit to their facility, our team met with President and CEO Taylor Matchton and toured the company’s operations, which include professional security vehicles, a dedicated training classroom, the TTS training system, and an impressive display of modern security technology and equipment.
Founded in 2018, Tact Tech was built on a vision centered around safety, service, and opportunity. Since then, the company has mentored and employed more than 500 security professionals throughout Florida.
