Does winter make you feel sluggish? The groundhog has confirmed, we've got another six weeks (at least) to go.
Do you feel as if there is a heavy ball chained to you, dragging you down, making it difficult to think straight or enjoy life?
Yes, with limited sunshine and a cold reason to hide inside, the Winter Blues are real and common. But that is not the complete cause. Nor is the constant barrage of bad news on the airwaves.
We feel bad when we don't eat well, plain and simple. And if we eat poorly for long enough, we cannot just turn it around with a big salad or a cruncy apple. Eating Right, like all Four Pillars of Health (Eat Right, Think Right, Move Right, and Sleep Right) is a lifestyle, not a quick fix.
Don't wait for Spring. If you truly want to ditch the weight, whether that weight be sluggishness, extra body fat, or both, I urge you to learn the "why" behind the "Eat Right" component of the Four Pillars. Knowledge empowers you to make good choices. Teaching is the reason I write this newsletter. I can share my knowledge, but the learning is up to you.
Of course, like Winter, there ARE conditions that are beyond our control. One example is the invisible toxins that our bodies must process. They come in through the air, water, and food that has been polluted by the actions of others. Then, the body needs some professional assistance; sometimes it needs us to engage in a physical reset. This is why I consistently advocate for our Full System Detoxification Cleanse. I promise you: this program will prepare you with both the knowledge and the personal guidance to free yourself from the blues and build a happy 2023!
