we are achieve brown county
Achieve Brown County is made up of all individuals and organizations in Brown County that actively work toward creating equitable conditions so all young people can thrive. We call these individuals and organizations Achieve Brown County Partners. Partners may work individually or within an action team facilitated by Achieve Brown County Backbone Staff.
All of Achieve Brown County (including backbone staff, partners, committee members and board members) believe in creating collective impact and establishing permanent population level change in seven outcome areas, spanning a young person's life from ages 0-26 (this age range is often referred to as cradle to career).
In addition, Achieve Brown County has three pillars of work.
creating and maintaining a shared community vision.
We believe that ALL youth should have what they need to succeed.
So we bring together a diverse group of people from across Brown County to agree on what shifts to policies, practices, resources and power structures are needed to produce equitable cradle-to-career outcomes.
| |
leading our county with evidence-based decision making. | We make evidence-based decisions using a process of rigorously collecting, analyzing, sharing and taking action with data (i.e., both outcomes and systems data), including youth and family perspectives and narratives, to make shifts in policies, practices, resources and power structures that produce equitable cradle-to-career outcomes.
facilitating and supporting collaborative action. | We believe in going beyond one-size-fits-all strategies. Volunteers of Achieve Brown County collectively create and adopt tools and processes and build the necessary knowledge and skills to make powerful contributions that shift policies, practices, resources and power structures leading to equitable cradle-to-career outcomes.
|
Be a part of the next wave of change for young people in Brown County.
