I don’t know about you but I feel like I’m forgetting to do something or go somewhere this fall? It feels really weird not to have just returned from our fall conference or being in crunch time headed to one soon. I’m feeling a bit sad not seeing all my C.A.R.E. friends twice this year, but it’s so exciting having extra time to plan our second annual conference in my home state of Indiana! Indianapolis is shaping up to be a fantastic event…read more below about what we’ve got planned so far. Let me (likely) be the first to say…Happy Holidays! Yes, the holiday season is upon us in just a few short weeks. I hope you spend lots of quality time with family and friends that you cherish in the coming months.

Pinnacle Award Nominations Now Being Accepted
|
The 2019 C.A.R.E. Pinnacle Award will be presented at C.A.R.E.'s 67th Conference at the Westin Indianapolis, Indianapolis, Indiana from
May 4-7, 2019 so it's time for YOU to start thinking of a worthy nominee and recipient of this prestigious award.
The C.A.R.E. Pinnacle Award honors an individual who has attained the highest level of excellence in the vacation industry for their achievements and has had a positive impact on the direction and standards of the industry and of the C.A.R.E. organization.
The Pinnacle Award is unique in that the recipient is nominated by the C.A.R.E. Membership. The winner of this lifetime achievement award must have demonstrated their commitment to the community through philanthropic activities and possess characteristics of leadership, integrity, quality standards and ethics.
Nominees and individuals nominating candidates for the Pinnacle Award must meet
eligibility requirements. Completed and executed Pinnacle

Based on post-conference surveys, c
onference committee and conference attendee suggestions, areas to be considered for C.A.R.E.'s 2021 conference are:
- Florida Beaches
- Chicago, IL
- Nashville and Memphis, TN
- Atlanta, GA
- Minneapolis, MN
- San Francisco, CA
- Toronto, Canada
- Mexico
Dates to be considered are April 29-
May 4, 2021 and May 13-May 18, 2021.

President Linda Mayhugh just returned a few weeks ago from Blue Mountain, Ontario, Canada where she represented C.A.R.E. at the Canadian Vacation Ownership
Association’s
2018 Conference.
She reports that VO-Con '18 boasted 75 attendees and that she talked with several new member prospects that she’ll be following up with over the next several weeks with hopes of bringing on some new members! While there she also networked with C.A.R.E. Members as well as our industry trade association partners in attendance
