CCSI Wellness - Spring into Health Events 


The first day of spring was Tuesday, March 19, 2024, which makes April the perfect time to “spring” into a wellbeing mindset! To help you kickstart your wellbeing, our Wellness Committee has partnered with committed CCSI partners to bring biometric screenings, mammograms, blood donation (sign-up for CCSI Blood Drive event in June/July 2024), EZaccessMD – Telemedicine Service, giveaways, and more to our Rochester and Syracuse locations!

We encourage you to join us with an open mind and curiosity for upcoming virtual and in-person mindfulness offerings led by and offered for CCSI staff in April and May!


  • Topsy-Turvy Tuesdays (Virtual drop-in offerings on Tuesdays from 9:00-9:30am on 4/2) – led by Vale Martini
  • Express Yourself! (Virtual drop-in offerings on Wednesdays 4:15-5:00pm on 4/3 and 4/17) – led by Natalie Nordlund
  • Mindfully Living: Discovering the Power of Being Present (An in-person 4-session series at CCSI Rochester on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:15pm on 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, and 5/28) – led by Denise Quamina

Congratulations to the PASS Class of 2023!

PASS is a mentoring program for Monroe County adolescents who learn life skills such as anger management, self-esteem building, job interviewing, decision making, goal setting, personal social skills, self-motivating skills, and much more. The program provides an environment to practice these skills and create new paths toward achieving lifelong goals. Check out some photos from their graduation where family and friends gathered to celebrate their accomplishments.

On behalf of CCSI Leadership, Rodney Corry, Senior Director, Administrative Services recently sent out an email to all CCSI staff regarding the upcoming solar eclipse. As you are likely aware, the eclipse will occur on the afternoon of Monday, April 8. A large number of people are expected to flood into the region to view this event.

Volunteers Needed!


Volunteers are needed to support the upcoming community poverty simulation. CCSI’s Poverty Simulation is an immersive experience that aims to raise awareness of, and empathy for, families living in poverty. By assuming the role of family members facing economic, health, and social challenges, participants learn to identify with the needs of community members and consider options for addressing poverty effectively.
