CDN Update

I hope this Update finds you safe and well.

I’d like to extend a huge personal thanks on behalf of the CDN team to everyone who attended or contributed to the first Virtual College Expo20! With more than 1,200 delegates from across our sector registered, an amazing exhibition of partners and stakeholders, and more than 21 keynotes and practical seminars, the day was buzzing with activity and online chat. Congratulations to Dr Julie McElroy, who was virtually inducted into the CDN College Hall of Fame by the Minister, Richard Lochhead MSP, during the event. Read more below.

Anyone who registered to attend Virtual College Expo is able to watch the sessions from the day by logging back into the platform. We hope to open the platform to all, and will provide further information about that when it becomes available.

A little reminder to get your entries in for the CDN College Awards - this year it's completely free to enter. The awards recognise the talent, skills and achievements of colleges, their staff and learners. Please do get your entries in by Friday 3 July . Find out more below.

As ever, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you’d like to talk about any aspect of our work, if you'd like to suggest new ways that we can support you, or share experiences and great practice that colleagues in the sector would find useful. You can email me at: jim.metcalfe@cdn.ac.uk
