Your CMA (AAMA)® Has Expired!

Your CMA (AAMA)^® certification expired {ExpDateText}.

You have fewer than 3 months to recertify by continuing education if that’s your preferred method. Failure to do so will require you to recertify by exam. You have until December 31, 2025, to submit your recertification application online or postmark by mail. (See the recertification policies for details.)

Recertify in these simple steps.

1. Choose between two methods:

Recertify by Continuing Education

Requires earning 60 continuing education units (CEUs)

2. Use the "Find CEUs" webpage to learn all the ways you can acquire both AAMA and non-AAMA CEUs.

3. Earn 60 CEUs total and meet all requirements:

10 administrative
10 clinical
10 general
30 combination of administrative, clinical, or general content area(s) of your choosing

4. Submit your application for recertification by continuing education.

How much does recertification cost?

The cost depends on the recertification method you choose:

Recertify by Continuing Education Application Fees

$80 for AAMA members*
$160 for nonmembers*
$50 reactivation fee (in addition to either the member or nonmember fee) if you are recertifying with a lapsed certification

*These prices do not include the costs associated with earning the required 60 CEUs. The cost of CEU acquisition varies according to the CEU courses each person chooses.

Recertify by Exam Fees

$125 for AAMA members
$250 for nonmembers
$50 reactivation fee (in addition to either the member or nonmember fee) if you are recertifying with a lapsed certification

Where can you get AAMA CEUs fast?

CPR cards

Two-year CPR cards issued within the applicant’s recertification period will be counted as four clinical AAMA recertification points. Up to three two-year CPR cards may be submitted for a total of 12 CEUs. Instantly submit documentation via the AAMA website (must be signed in for access).
