Time to Prune our Fruit Trees
Less is more?
Late winter or early spring is the best time to prune fruit trees before any buds appear. We are out cutting branches that are growing inward or straight up which will enable the other limbs to grow strong and allow sufficient sunlight for the fruit to ripen. It also allows good air flow to prevent disease. We are working hard to welcome a great season of peaches, apples, plums & more!

Roasted Root Vegetables with Indian Curry & Cilantro
William Sonoma Recipe
Take the Parsnip & Turnip challenge! Toasting curry powder and then mixing it with oil intensifies its multilayered taste. It contrasts nicely with earthy root vegetables, which are roasted in a hot oven to coax out their natural sweetness. A sprinkle of bright-tasting cilantro lends a refreshing component to the dish.!
