Thank You St. Johns!
Theresa and David have been our gracious hosts at Journey Church of Lenexa for West classes since 2014. Theresa has always taken time to memorize each student's name, quizzing herself as each one comes through the door. David always makes sure that the showcase is the highlight of the season! They will always be at the center of the CYT family.
You will be missed, St. Johns!

Why a Gala?
For 20 years, CYT has provided classes, camps and productions in the Kansas City area. We've seen a lot of changes and have experienced a number of challenges. After 20 years we have more competition, higher costs and decreased access to affordable facilities.
Can you imagine what it would be like to not have CYT? To not have a place for students to explore their creativity and individuality in a safe environment? To not enjoy the community created within CYT?
This is why we host the CYT Gala! Because we believe CYT is reaching families and having an impact in students' lives. And we have the opportunity to continue reaching families, but we need your help! Join us this year at the gala:
Saturday, March 21st at The Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland.
Raffle Ticket Contest!
Don't forget - there are great prizes up for grabs! Sell the most raffle tickets and you could WIN an Apple Watch, PLUS a spring tuition AND a spring production fee! So sell those tickets!

Turn in sold tickets at rehearsal, showcase or the CYT office!

Check Out These Upcoming Opportunities!
CYT is committed to all of our families and offers inclusive opportunities that give all families theater education and tools that provide hope, encouragement, teach acceptance and recognize all students for their participation, peer support and leadership skills.

We welcome students of all abilities and we are excited and inspired as we watch students learn and grow in confidence and self-esteem as they develop their talents in classes, camps and productions.

When my daughters and I walked into CYT for the first time almost 20 years ago we were so excited and so nervous. We knew that God had begun a new journey for us.

CYT has provided lifelong lessons, memories and friendships for our girls and family.
Halie has an outgoing personality and today she is passionate about music, dance & fitness and theater. Her life has been forever blessed. Her disability has never held her from accomplishing her goals.

Andrea has always looked up to her big sister and has grown up with a passion for theater. She will graduate from college this year with a degree in acting and plans to pursue her dreams that began at CYT.

The day I became a mother was the best day of my life. The day Halie was born was no different. I knew God had handed me a precious gift. Inclusion was not something I had experienced in my own life but it was exactly what our family prayed for. It was important to our family and we knew it was important to God.

As I prayed I asked God to help me help other families like ours, He answered my prayers and filled me with hope as He spoke to my heart. He let me know He would lead me and help me become the advocate I am today if I would trust Him. I learned to truly trust God maybe for the first time in my life as He led us to CYT.

Growing up I knew I believed in God and our time at CYT has blessed our family in so many ways. Our faith has grown and strengthened our family and we know that Jesus is with us every step of the way in every circumstance in every day.

I am so grateful for all of our years here. It is a privilege and a blessing to work as the HEART Program Coordinator for CYT Kansas City.

We hope that the H.E.A.R.T. program has blessed and inspired your family just like it has our family.

Inclusion is a blessing to all of our lives and all of our communities.
