On Thursday, October 13, 2022, the California Coastal Commission will be hearing and considering Application No. 9-20-0691 by the South Coast Water District to allow for the construction and operation of the Doheny Desalination Project in southern Orange County. The hearing will be conducted in a hybrid format, with public participation possible virtually and in person. The meeting will be held at: Best Western Island Palms Hotel & Marina, 2051 Shelter Island Dr., San Diego, CA.

Application by South Coast Water District to construct and operate a seawater desalination facility in Dana Point with seawater intake wells to be located at Doheny State Beach, in the City of Dana Point, Orange County. (TL-SF)

Registration is now open for the 2023 CalDesal Annual Conference which will be held at the Embassy Suites in Sacramento on February 16-17, 2023! There are a limited number of Conference Block Rooms available at the conference rate for the Embassy Suites, so you are encouraged to register early and book your accommodations before all of the conference block rooms are taken!
