Kern High School District Receives $1.8 Million for the Department of Education Learning Communities for School Success Program
Kern High School District, a California Consulting client, has received the Department of Education Learning Communities For School Success Program for $1.8 million. This great achievement can be attributed to the vision and foresight of the District's leadership to promote the quality of education for its students.

Hilda Rivero, KHSD- Program Coordinator & Technical Writer, LCAP, stated

“Kern High School District (KHSD) is very excited to be awarded the Department of Education Learning Communities for School Success Program. Our team worked closely with California Consulting and they provided professional and personalized attention to all the details of this highly competitive grant. We are pleased to acknowledge the $1.8 million dollars will help our focus to support our KHSD students, and support the staff that are trying to help those same KHSD students and families every day! This grant allocation will assist us with (to name a few) mentoring, mental health, and substance abuse intervention; and enhance and support student services on each campus, that will include a comprehensive, multifaceted, and integrated continuum of school-community interventions for students in KHSD.”

California Consulting, Inc. is proud of the partnership we have with the excellent team at Kern High School District.
