Internship Funding Opportunities and Information Sessions at CEU
Funding Opportunity - application deadline May 3
The Spring Calls for CEU's Academic Cooperation and Research Office (ACRO) and the Career Services Office (CSO) internship funds are open. For this round of calls, the  Erasmus+ Internship Mobility Programs  and the  Internship Support Program Fund  will accept applications for internship funding support until May 3. 

Lecture - Borderless Knowledge Series at CEU: Who do small children believe? 
CEU kicked off the Borderless Knowledge open lecture series in February 2019. CEU professors, in cooperation with leading Hungarian experts and well-known public figures, discuss exciting recent scientific findings and their direct impact on our everyday lives. The lectures are held in Hungarian with simultaneous English interpretation.  The event is open to the public free of charge, and requires registration. Please register here

Volunteering Opportunity - English Tutoring Program for Dr. Ambedkar School students  
The main goal of the project is tutoring Roma senior high school pupils to learn English and to prepare and help enable them to apply for further studies. Learn more about the project here. If you would like to participate in the upcoming session, please fill out this form by April 24.

Schneider Electric is currently recruiting an Energy Sourcing Analyst Intern in Budapest, Hungary. Ongoing studies at university in finance or economics, excellent knowledge of Excel and fluency in English are required. Knowledge of Czech, Slovak, Romanian, Polish or Serbian language is an advantage. Deadline: As soon as possible

The EU Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic is offering a funded traineeship for a period of 6 months within its Operations Section in Kyrgyzstan starting June 2019. A bachelor's degree in political science, economy, law, history, international relations and knowledge of the functioning and policies of EU are required.  Deadline: April 29

The Lantos Foundation is offering a Fellowship in the United States Congress based in Washington D.C., USA. Candidates should hold European or Israeli nationality and have a demonstrable commitment to human rights work.

Open Society Foundations is receiving applications for its Presidential Fellowship to be based in New York, NY, USA. Applications are welcome from candidates from all educational backgrounds with at least two years of experience in advocacy, policy or campaigning with demonstrated interest in political integrity and justice, economic justice and inclusion, human rights and information integrity. US work authorization required. Deadline: May 3

United Nations University is offering positions in its Junior Fellows Internship Programme in Tokyo. Candidates must be currently pursuing or have recently completed postgraduate studies (master's or doctoral), preferably in a field related to the University's work. Deadline: May 12

Family Tree Ltd. , an international probate and heir research company based in Budapest, Hungary is seeking a Researcher. Candidates should be creative individuals who are fluent in English as well as Russian or Ukrainian. Deadline: Rolling

BlackRock is looking for a Product Strategist to join their team in Budapest, Hungary. A bachelor's degree in quantitative finance or economics, a desire to learn about the investment management industry and high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required. Deadline: As soon as possible

Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) is seeking a Communications Associate to be based in London, United Kingdom or Geneva, Switzerland. A university degree in communications, public relations, journalism or literature and at least two years of relevant experience is required. Deadline: April 25

The Autonomous University of Barcelona is seeking a Research Assistant (Sociology/Political Science). Candidates must hold a university degree in political science, sociology, labor economics or similar, and have experience in the analysis of social science data. Deadline: April 27

The Council of Europe is seeking a Junior Youth Project Officer to be based in Strasbourg, France. Candidates must be citizens of one of the Council of Europe's 47 member states. Other requirements: a university degree in education, youth or community work, social sciences or humanities; less than two years of relevant professional experience and a very good knowledge of either English or French. Deadline: April 30
