Career Camp 2020 -- A Lot of Happy Campers!
Thank you to all the students who took part in the 2020 Career Camp. During the two-week camp, we saw nearly 300 participants in 12 separate workshops and info-sessions, available on both campuses.

Internship Funding Spring Call Info Sessions
The Internship Support Program (ISP) Fund and the Erasmus+ Internship Mobility Program , are aimed at providing support to students who find professionally relevant internships that are low-paid or unpaid. Students who consider applying for funding are strongly encouraged to attend our info sessions to learn about eligibility and evaluation criteria as well as upcoming application deadlines. Every year the Career Services Office works with students and alumni who wish to find work outside their home country or region. Based on student feedback, we’ve decided to offer an info session on this topic. We will share tips and cautions regarding these tricky job searches.
AT AND BEYOND CEU
Proud Talent is a two-day event organized in the beginning of April by the network of LGBTQ+ network at McKinsey. The event is an opportunity to meet LGBTQ+ team members and allies working at McKinsey and learn more about the company, build your problem-solving and communications skills, and network with peers. Students who have maximum five years of work experience, identify as LGBTQ+, and speak at least one Central European language are eligible to apply . Application deadline: March 1
Women’s Day Open Night at Mastercard Budapest
Mastercard Advisors is inviting female university students and young professionals to attend a Women’s Day Open Night on March 9. The event offers a chance to connect with senior managers from Budapest, Vienna, Bucharest, and Tel Aviv and discuss questions related to starting a career as a consultant. You can apply to the event by sending your CV to orsolya.bugyi@mastercard.com , with the subject ‘Application for Women’s day open night.’ Application deadline: March 5.
WiDS is a global conference, with 150+ regional events worldwide. It aims to inspire and educate data scientists worldwide, regardless of gender, and support women in the field. The Budapest program includes four talks and a panel discussion about how to use data science for social good. The event is free, but registration is required. INTERNSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIPS
The transnational feminist solidarity network Women Living Under Muslim Laws (WLUML) is looking for remote interns to fill the roles of Digital Communications Intern, Website Liaison Intern, and Publications Intern. In addition to role-specific requirements, fluency in English is mandatory and proficiency in Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Turkish, and/or French is a strong asset. Deadline: Open until filled
Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) is seeking a student intern/interns to work in its Ghana office where they are developing new research projects in various sectors including agriculture, health, social protection, financial inclusion, SME, education, environment, and child protection. Interest in development issues and in at least one of IPA Ghana’s sector of focus is required, together with good understanding of impact evaluation methodologies. Excellent communication skills in English are a must, previous experience working in a developing country is a plus. Deadline: Rolling
The Carter Center in Atlanta, Georgia is accepting applications for internships through several programs and offices falling under their three main program areas of peace, health, and operations. The internships are open for enrolled graduate students and recent graduates. Applicants outside of the US who have completed a bachelor’s degree can receive J-1 visa sponsorship . Deadlines: Summer: March 1, Fall: June 15
UNICEF is partnering with CEU to select interns to work in UNICEF Country Offices in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Students can apply for multiple roles. Requirements include: strong analytical skills, proven ability to synthesize information and communicate it simply and effectively, and ability to work in an international and multicultural environment. Fluency in English is required, knowledge of other regional languages, especially Russian, is an advantage. Deadline: March 2
The Open Society Foundations has opened applications for The Aryeh Neier Fellowship program in London , Berlin , and New York . This full-time, two-year program offers lawyers and other advocates an opportunity to gain practical experience in international human rights advocacy and litigation. A university degree in law or an LL.M or M.A. in human rights is required. Graduate degrees in related fields may be considered in exceptional circumstances. Successful candidates should have a maximum of five years of practical experience in human rights and be fluent in English. Knowledge of French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and/or other languages is an asset. The successful candidate, by the start of their employment, must have permission to work in the selected location. Deadline: March 24
International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) in Rome has an open call for internships . Graduates in archaeology, architecture, art history, conservation/restoration, engineering, library science, museology, public administration, or urban planning are encouraged to apply. Applicants must specify the priority area in which they wish to work if accepted. Good knowledge of at least one of the official languages (English and French) is required. Candidates must be from ICCROM Member States . Deadline: April 30

Tostan , an international non-profit based in Dakar, is seeking a Global Message Mobilizer to support the Public Relations Mobilizer and Global Network Coordinator in ensuring clear communication of Tostan’s message across all channels. Successful candidate should be familiar with online marketing and web design and be able to create engaging content on multiple social media platforms. Fluency in English and French are required, knowledge of a local West African language is an advantage. Deadline: March 4
International Organization for Migration (IOM) Thailand is looking for a Project Support Officer . The successful candidate will support the planning, implementation and monitoring of sub-regional activities under the Asia Regional Migration Program. Two years of relevant professional experience and demonstrated experience and understanding of the migration context in Asia, particularly in South East Asia are required, together with knowledge and experience of monitoring and evaluation processes. Fluency in both oral and written English is a must, working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is considered an advantage. Deadline March 5
Democracy Reporting International has an opening in Tunis for a Libya Program Officer . The Officer will mainly be responsible for designing, monitoring, and evaluating project activities implemented in Tunisia and Libya. Experience of implementing projects in the Libyan context is required, together with proficiency in common MEL approaches. Knowledge of both English and Arabic is a must, background in quantitative research is an advantage. Deadline: March 8
ERTICO – ITS Europe , a public-private partnership of 120 companies and organizations in the field of Intelligent Transport Systems and Services (ITS), is seeking a Project Assistant to work in Brussels. Minimum 2 years of experience in an assistant role, excellent planning and organizational skills, and fluency in English are required. Knowledge of the Transport & ITS field and of other European languages are considered assets. Deadline: March 16
Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe is recruiting for its Young Professional Officer Program . During the one-year assignment, selected candidates will work both at the Secretariat and in one of the OSCE field operations. The 2020 Program is open to: 1) nationals of OSCE participating states which agree to fund Junior Professional Officers, and 2) for a limited (maximum five) number of nationals of OSCE participating states who are not in the position to sponsor. Candidates should be under the age of 30. Professional fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of other OSCE official languages, especially Russian, is an asset. Deadline: March 18
