Central European University and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) have signed an official internship agreement. By means of this partnerships, UNIDO is willing to receive applications from qualified CEU students and recent graduates for internships to be conducted at the UNIDO headquarters in Vienna and in field offices worldwide. On January 31st, a UNIDO delegation will join us in CEU in Vienna to share useful insights and information on the available internships and the ways in which an internship at UNIDO can boost your career. Join Careers in EU Affairs to learn about different types of jobs and positions in the EU Affairs industry and within EU institutions. The session will be led by Andras Baneth, the Author of Europe's no.1 best-seller book on EU (EPSO), who has 15 years of experience in EU affairs in Brussels & Luxembourg and is an expert on European Union decision-making & lobbying. Careers in International Organizations / UN
Join us for a panel discussion about careers in International Organizations / UN. You will hear from professionals (including CEU alumni) regarding their experience working with international organizations in a variety of roles. This is a varied field, with many possible career paths, work functions, and professional areas of focus. Our speakers will share information about their own paths and provide advice for CEU students interested in working for this sort of employer. Date: Wednesday, February 19  
OSCE Employer Workshop    
Are you interested in working in the fields of international co-operation and security and human rights? Are you considering a career working for an international organization and wondering what it takes to get in? The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) will organize a recruitment bootcamp for CEU students and alumni in February. During this session you will learn how to prepare a competitive job or internship application, to understand the selection process, and to prepare yourself for competency-based interviews. R-Ladies Budapest  and Budapest Users of R Network are organizing a rstudio::conf watch party at CEU on Wednesday, January 29. Participants will be able to pose questions to the speakers in the main event in San Francisco, California. Find the agenda here. The event is free, but registration is required.
In the past years, CEU has been recruiting and supporting volunteers to provide English tutoring to secondary school students in the framework of eight separate tutoring sessions: 4-4 sessions for two small groups. Volunteers will be given guidance in designing their class, but the specific exercises, games, and activities you wish to use are up to you. The next tutoring sessions will take place on Friday January 31 in Budapest. Women in Data Science Budapest conference is organized at CEU on March 2. WiDS aims to inspire and educate data scientists worldwide, regardless of gender, and support women in the field. The Budapest program contains four talks by data scientists and a panel discussion with women in data science on how to use data science for social good. The event is free, but registration is required.  


TransferWise is looking for a Product Analyst Intern to join their growing team in Budapest. The intern will work with different product tribes, interact with customers and operational teams, and assist senior analysts in launching, testing, and improving new features. Qualified candidates should graduate with a degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, or other related discipline in 2021. Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in either SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or similar technologies required. Deadline: Open until filled
Stockholm Environment Institute Africa is seeking applicants for its internship program. Internships are conducted in Nairobi, Kenya and last for six months. Qualified candidates should have an interest in one of the following from among SEI Africa's work areas: energy and climate change, natural resources and ecosystems, health and environment, sustainable urbanization, or communication. In addition, they should be enrolled or have graduated from a related master's program. Fluency in spoken and written English is a must, knowledge of an additional language especially French and Portuguese is a plus. Priority is given to candidates from Sub-Saharan Africa. Deadline: Rolling
The  European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) in Budapest is launching a call for application for its traineeship program for a period of six months for spring 2020 intake. The trainee will work full-time in one of the EIT's five units, namely: EIT Director's Office, Communications and Stakeholder Relations Unit, Innovation Communities Unit, Strategy and Impact Unit, or Services and Finance Unit. Application requirements vary from unit to unit. Priority is given to applicants who are from one of the Member States of the European Union (EU), the Member States of the European Economic Area (EEA), the European Free Trade Area (EFTA), or from candidate countries. In addition, a limited number of nationals from countries other than those listed above can also be accepted. Deadline: January 31
Translators Without Borders is looking for a Community and Recruitment Intern to assist the Community and Recruitment teams build and engage a volunteer community of over 30,000 language professionals, coordinating collaboration among translators and ensuring engagement, recruitment, and growth of the volunteer community as well as timely and effective communication. The position is remote and can be conducted either on a full- or part-time basis. Excellent command of both oral and written English is a must, knowledge of other languages and previous experience in translation and/or interpreting are considered an advantage. Deadline: February 1  
Royal Ontario Museum Department of Art & Culture offers multiple paid internships for undergraduate and graduate students to explore museum careers and gain professional experience and training. Each intern is placed in one of the collection areas that is relevant to his/her interests and career goals. Some background in the internship subject area is required. The museum will act as host institution but does not sponsor visas for international interns. Deadline: March 1
The Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University is welcoming international students to apply to paid BKC Project Internship for Summer 2020Project interns work closely with team members on specific projects, learning about the research and creating outputs guided by project needs. Possible project topics include: Algorithms and Justice; Ethics and Governance of AI; and BKC Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. You may apply for multiple internship roles. The Summer 2020 internship program works with the Harvard International Office (HIO) to sponsor J-1 Student Intern Visas for summer interns who meet the requirements. Deadline: March 15

The Consortium on Gender, Security and Human Rights in Boston is accepting applications for summer internships. The Consortium generates new thinking and engagement on gender, war, and peacebuilding, providing a bridge between research, activism, and policymaking. An expressed and/or demonstrated interest in gender and security and excellent organizational, research, communications, and interpersonal skills are required. Deadline: April 3

WRI India is seeking a GIS Analyst with demonstrated professional and research experience working with environmental and urban planning data for its Integrated Urban Planning (IUP) initiative based in Bengaluru, India. Master's or doctoral degree in geography, environmental science, earth sciences, geomatics, geoinformatics, remote sensing, or other related fields required together with two years of work experience. Qualified candidates should have sound knowledge of spatial analytics and modelling and remote sensing, and experience with coding, particularly Python, R, and Java script. International work experience is a plus. Deadline: Open until filled
APPLiA - Home Appliance Europe is seeking an Energy Policy Junior Specialist . The role will cover all aspects of EU energy policy and legislation relevant to the home appliance sector, such as eco-design and energy labelling legislation, climate policy, circular economy, and resource efficiency. Good knowledge of the EU institutions, understanding of EU energy and environmental policy, and fluency in English are required. Previous professional experience in a trade/industry association or with the home appliance sector and knowledge of additional major European language are considered an asset. Deadline: January 30
Carbon Pulse has an opening for a full-time Climate and Energy Correspondent. In addition to having exemplary communications skills, applicants must be keen self-starters with a wealth of experience and knowledge regarding the EU ETS and its member state's climate policies. Fluency in English required, communication skills in other European languages - especially German are an asset. A background in journalism is advantageous but not essential. Copenhagen Consensus Center is looking for a part-time Executive Secretary who can commit 2-3 hours per day, long-term. Main tasks include monitoring and answering incoming emails; entering, updating, and reviewing calendar entries; and scheduling and coordinating phone calls and meetings. Native or very advanced English skills and good interpersonal and communication skills are required. Home-based/remote working is a possibility. Deadline: January 31
FORUM-ASIA is hiring an NHRI (National Human Rights Institution) Program Associate for its ANNI (Asian NGO Network on National Human Rights Institutions) Program in Bangkok, Thailand. The ideal candidate should have at minimum a bachelor's degree in the field of human rights or a related subject, a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, in-depth understanding of the overall socio-political and human rights situation in Asia, and familiarity with NHRI's work in the region. Deadline: February 9
Intrum , as part of their International Trainee Program, is seeking a fresh graduate for an Analyst Graduate position in Budapest. The 12-month program is divided into three modules during which candidates will have the chance to work in different departments and spend two to three months abroad. U niversity degree in finance, statistics, economics, mathematics, or a similar quantitative discipline is required, together with an interest to dig into data, make calculations, and draw conclusions. Excellent English language skills are a must. Deadline: February 23
