Career Knowledge Hub - Check out the newly updated Handouts section!
As announced in the previous Careers Newsletter, the Career Services Office is launching a Career Knowledge Hub where students and alumni can access practical information and advice about how to approach their career development. Last month, we shared seven useful presentations. This month, we're sharing a set of useful handouts on topics related to Job and Internship Search, Application Materials including CV/Resume and Cover Letter, Interview Preparation and Networking. CEU Community Engagement - Track Your Civic Engagement Hours Award Ceremony 
Volunteering Recognition
Volunteering helps you build skills that might be relevant for your future professional career and CEU is committed to promoting active citizenship. The CEU Community Engagement Office, to acknowledge commitment to community engagement, will hold an award ceremony where volunteers will be recognized based on the level of hours served.  The most dedicated volunteers will be honored by CEU Provost, Liviu Matei. All are welcome to attend.

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is looking for an intern to be based in Milan, Italy. The intern will support the work of the Remediation Team with field work and data analytics and visualization. The ideal candidate has a master's degree in environmental sciences, is fluent in English and is familiar with environmental regulations related to soil and groundwater characterization and remediation. Deadline: As soon as possible
Manna Project International is looking for  Ecuador Community Development Fellows to be based in Chillos Valley, Ecuador. The Fellows will work with in-country staff to implement community programs, teach English, supervise and support volunteers and contribute to operations. The ideal candidate has experience in teaching English, intermediate level of Spanish, demonstrated flexibility and the ability to multi-task.

The United Nations High Commissioner For Refugees (UNHCR) is seeking two research interns to be based in Budapest to support the projects of the Innovation Service and Leadership Development Sections. Candidates should have a university background in social sciences or any related field, experience in qualitative data collection and data analysis and good analytical, organizational and communication skills.

The  European Investment Bank  is seeking a  trainee  for its Economics Department to be based in Luxembourg. The traineeship is for a period of 6 months starting on September 16, 2019. Applicants should have a master's degree in economics or finance or be in their final year of studies, a good understanding of economic theory and advanced statistical methods and experience of working with macroeconomic. Deadline: June 26

Open Society Foundations is looking for Litigation Fellows for their Justice Initiative to be based in London, United Kingdom and in New York, United States. Applicants should have a law degree, at least three years of experience as a lawyer and up to five years practical experience in the human rights field. Work authorization in the United Kingdom or the United States are required. Deadline: July 14

Legalis Global on behalf of their client is looking for a Junior Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Associate to be based in Warsaw, Poland. Candidates should have 1-4 years of post-qualified experience in big or medium size firms, willingness to work hard and fluent Polish and English. Deadline: Open until filled

RPP Group is looking for a Policy Analyst to be based in London, United Kingdom. Candidates should have a degree in political sciences, law, economics, public health or communications; 2-3 years of relevant experience in public affairs and policy and excellent client and interpersonal skills.

International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) is seeking a  Project Assistant  to support its administrative processes and implementation of activities in Amman, Jordan. Applicants should be proficient in English and Arabic, have 2 years of experience in project administration and implementation in an international context and be familiar with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP.  Deadline: June 21
SWAN Foundation is seeking an Administrative Assistant to help with office procedures and tasks in Budapest, Hungary. The position is part-time (30 hours/week) and requires candidates to be a citizen or resident of Hungary. The ideal candidate is a native speaker of Hungarian, fluent in English and has some experience of office management. Knowledge of Russian or other Slavic languages is a plus. Deadline: June 25

The  Romani Studies Program (RSP) of the Central European University (CEU) invites applications for a Junior Visiting Researcher to be based in Budapest, Hungary. The position is for one year and applicants should hold a master's degree in social sciences or humanities and/or have professional experience working with Roma communities and fluency in English.  Deadline: June 25
