Alumni Reunion Living Library - Alumni-Student Networking Event

Join us for CEU's annual Living Library alumni-student career networking event!  Living Library is a space where members of our diverse CEU Alumni and Student communities can engage with each other on issues connected to career development in an informal yet informative way.  Students, as 'Readers', will have access to a number of interesting 'Books' with whom they can interact, network and ask questions. Registration will open closer to the time of the event, but until then save the date!

AT CEU AND BEYOND

The annual CEU NGO Fair organized by Human Rights Initiative (HRSI) is back again. This event is a great occasion to meet and network with representatives of the most vocal local and international civil society organizations and to learn more about the volunteering and internship opportunities with them. The organizers are expecting representatives of around 20 organizations.

Internship Funding Opportunities and Information Sessions at CEU
Funding Opportunity - application deadline May 3
The Spring Calls for CEU's Academic Cooperation and Research Office (ACRO) and the Career Services Office (CSO) internship funds are open. For this round of calls, the  Erasmus+ Internship Mobility Programs  and the  Internship Support Program Fund  will accept applications for internship funding support until May 3.  The coordinators for both internship funds are holding two special, joint information sessions focused on helping applicants understand and prepare the required documents. The sessions will be short, with time for individuals to get advice on their own applications. Feel free to bring your draft application materials and a list of questions!

Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA) launches the Second Wave Cohort of the Ocean Solutions Accelerator  that will transform 15 brilliant ocean solutions into sustainable revenue-generating companies.  Ocean Tech entrepreneurs can submit their applications online before March 31.

United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has opened the  2019 Summer Internship Call for CEU Students. Students who have a background in international relations, social sciences, public administration, law or a related field are encouraged to apply. The UNICEF internship opportunity is part of the CEU Internship Support Program.  Deadline: March 22
The Open Society Foundations is looking for candidates to join its Aryeh Neier Justice Initiative Fellowship in London, United Kingdom. A university degree in law or an LL.M or master's degree in human rights is required. Deadline: March 24

Falkenburg, an investment banking and advisory firm, is seeking a Merger & Acquisition intern to be based in Budapest, Hungary. Candidates with economics and finance background with fluent English and at least an intermediate level of Hungarian will be considered. Deadline: March 25 

The International Labour Organization (ILO) is looking for a  Communications Intern in Bangkok, Thailand. This six-months, paid internship ideal for those who have excellent command of English, have demonstrated skills of using social media monitoring tools and analytics, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop.  Deadline: April 12
