Weekly Career Pop-Up - Drop in with quick questions!
Do you want quick feedback on your application materials? Need interview tips and tricks? Perhaps some networking advice? Or just crave a snack? The CEU Career Services Office offers quick career advice with a side of popcorn every Wednesday (except on holidays) from 12:30 to 14:30 on both campuses. Watch social media for exact location.

Info Session - Scholarships and Research Funding in Austria
Werner Fulterer from the Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research (OeAD) will give insights into research in Austria, EURAXESS and grants.at, the Austrian database for research and grants.

Kantar, the world's largest data analytics and market research firm, is looking to increase exposure to global graduate applicants interested in consulting, data and analytics, research, technology, or account management. Their Talent Management Team will hold a virtual employer talk at CEU. CEU alum Aidan Lawrence (MBA '14), Kantar's Associate Director of Operations, will share more about Kantar's work, including tips for increasing your chances as an applicant and information about early career and graduate schemes. Careers in Political Risk Management
Working in the field of political risk requires excellent research and analytical skills and strong communication and writing skills. Regional and/or country-specific expertise is also frequently sought in this field, as is the ability to think creatively regarding possible future scenarios. Citi's Markets Quantitative Analysis (MQA) & Trading group in Budapest invites up to 30 students to visit their offices. This open day gives selected students the opportunity to learn about Citi MQA's work and to meet the team, including Assistant Vice President Illés Farkas, Vice President Márton Sebők, and Managing Director David Mitchell. Preference will be given to applicants that, based on their CV, could meet the requirements for job and internship positions at Citi's MQA division. Learn & Engage Program
This program, set up by the Community Engagement Office, provides consultation, training, and resources to support CEU community members in Budapest and Vienna (student, staff, faculty) in designing, developing, and delivering their own civic engagement projects to bring about change to people in need in Hungary and in Austria. MacKinsey & Company - Next Generation Women Leaders Award 2020
The Next Generation Women Leaders award is a scholarship designed to recognize talent and support students who would like to maximize their potential. Applications are accepted from current students working towards a Bachelors, Masters or PhD, from any discipline or background based in one of the participating locations. The Climate Action Network's (CAN) Internship Program is an opportunity to contribute to efforts to fight climate change. Interns work remotely, either full or part-time, and choose between Secretariat or National/Regional tracks. Strong interest in climate change issues, experience working with NGOs, and ability to work independently in a remote office environment required. Deadline:Rolling

Cultural Vistas / Fund for International Fellowships and Cultural Dialogue is seeking applicants for the Alfa Fellowship Program that aims to foster a community of emerging leaders with first-hand experience in the business, public policy, and cultural environments of Russia and the region. Candidates must be U.S., U.K., or German citizens between the ages of 25 and 35 and have a demonstrated interest in Russian, European, and Eurasian affairs and exceptional academic and professional credentials. Russian language experience is preferred. Deadline: November 15
African Court on Human and People's Rights is accepting applications for internships. All nationalities are encouraged to apply, however priority will be given to citizens of the Member States of the African Union. Interest in human rights, ability to work in a multicultural environment, and excellent command of at least one of the AU working languages (English, French, Arabic or Portuguese) are required. Knowledge of any of the other working languages will be an advantage.

The Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest offers internships in all four of their museums (Museum of Fine Arts Budapest, Hungarian National Gallery, Vasarely Museum, Ferenc Hopp Museum of Asiatic Arts). Positions are granted based on the needs of different museums and departments and the applicant's prior experience.

The Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) is hiring a number of remote researchers to assist in the collection, review, and management of political violence and protest data across East Asia and Europe. Requirements include: local knowledge and language skills, and professional experience in journalism, media monitoring, conflict research, civil society research, or similar fields, together with a minimum availability of 20 hours per week.

The Young Professionals Program (YPP) is an entry-level program to attract highly qualified and motivated individuals to the Asian Development Bank (ADB ) for a fixed-term appointment of 3 years. Qualified candidates must be nationals of one of the ABD member countries and be born on or after January 1, 1988. Proven academic track record in a field relevant to the job and minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience required. Deadline: October 31

who will be responsible for gender-sensitive messaging and communications on gender equality priorities. An advanced degree in communications, gender studies, journalism, marketing, or a related field, and minimum   4 years of relevant experience is required together with excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English. Deadline: Open until filled 
Newcastle University is seeking a Lecturer to conduct research in the International Politics of Gender (broadly defined) and contribute to teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Good first degree and PhD (or near completion) in politics or a related discipline, track record of publications related to the international politics of gender, and experience of teaching undergraduates and/or postgraduates required.

The European Climate Foundation (ECF) is seeking an Associate for their Energy Systems Programme. Proven ability to work as part of and in support of a team and at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the EU energy and climate space required. Experience in the private sector in the field of electricity is an asset.

The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) is looking for an  Engagement Editor
to help with telling cross-border investigative stories in a variety of online settings. Excellent writing skills and native English proficiency are a must. Additional language proficiency, particularly Russian, and familiarity with anti-corruption, press freedom, and international development issues strongly preferred.
