Join Flagship Cruises & Events and the Chula Vista Bayfront on Monday, June 1, 2026, as we celebrate the official launch of the new Chula Vista Ferry Service connecting the Bayfront to Downtown San Diego. Enjoy light refreshments, waterfront views, event swag, and special remarks from community leaders including Mayor John McCann. The public is invited to attend! Ferry tickets are available for purchase at $15 each way.

Chula Vista Bayfront Shuttle Expands Service

The City of Chula Vista is expanding Bayfront shuttle service this summer, with the Green Line now running daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. for extended evening access to the waterfront and nearby communities.



Passengers can also now track the shuttle in real time through the City’s website.

Grand Opening Celebration – Olive Branch Early Education Center

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the Olive Branch Early Education Center, a partnership between Educational Enrichment Systems (EES) and St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. This exciting milestone represents a shared commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and creating a strong foundation for the children and families of our community.

We are grateful to the dedicated staff, community leaders, supporters, and partners whose vision and hard work made this center a reality. New Exhibit Opens at the Living Coast Discovery Center

The Living Coast Discovery Center in Chula Vista has officially unveiled its newest exhibit, Urban Oasis, offering visitors an up-close look at local wildlife and the important role these animals play in our coastal ecosystem. The exhibit features resident animals including Ronnie the raccoon and opossums, helping guests better understand and appreciate urban wildlife that is often misunderstood.



“Urban Oasis” was made possible through a generous private donation in memory of Sara “Jean” Davis, whose lifelong dedication to healthcare, military service, and animal welfare continues to inspire the community. The new exhibit provides an engaging and educational experience for guests of all ages while fostering empathy and conservation awareness for the wildlife that shares our region.

Congratulations to The Adelaide on its beautiful grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration in Chula Vista!

We are honored to welcome this exciting new property to our community and celebrate the investment it brings to our region.
