City of Park Hills
Prescription Drug Take Back Event
Prescription drug abuse has become one of the most serious problems in the nation.
The reality of our community has changed. Teens, adults and elderlies are misusing and abusing over-the-counter and prescription medication.
To help address the problem, entities across the nation are holding events to help get unused prescription drugs away from places where they might be abused.
On Saturday, April 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the City of Park Hills will be participating to take back any unused prescription drugs. Drop off your unused or unwanted prescriptions at:
- Park Hills Police Department at 8 Municipal Drive
Check your home medicine cabinet and look for medicines that you do not need or have expired. Bring them to the nearest Prescription Take Back Day site. The best way to keep them from getting into the wrong hands and improperly used is to safely dispose them. You can bring: Expired or unused prescription medication, unneeded over-the-counter medication, medicine from deceased family members, and pet medications.
