Chamber Cares - Feed the Kids Food Drive
The Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce will be partnering with several Chamber Investors to "Feed the Kids" this May!
We are currently seeking Chamber Investors who would be interested in collecting food items, specifically those geared toward kid friendly foods, at their business during the week of May 13th-18th.
Participating businesses will encourage customers to donate food items during this time, and then a representative from that business will bring all the items collected to either of our drop-off sponsors "Turner Chevrolet - Cadillac Co., Inc." on Friday 17th or "New Era Bank" on Saturday, May 18th so that the food may be divided and distributed to The Elvins Food Pantry and Immaculate Conception/St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry.
Investors currently committed to collecting items include:

Coordinated Community Response Meeting
Southeast Missouri Family Violence Council cordially invites you to attend the Coordinated Community Response Meeting for St. Francois County on March 29 at 12:00 p.m. at Pasta House (lunch on your own).
This meeting will be about what the organization offers and how they may serve some of the agencies in the community.
Southeast Missouri Family Violence Council is a non-for-profit organization, which offers free alternatives for victims and children of domestic violence. They seek to diminish domestic violence and sexual assault on a community wide level by providing shelter, supporting victims to take control of their lives, and to realize their strengths and abilities. As member of the community, you play an important role in reducing family violence.

Missouri Chamber applauds Senate as they advance broad-based tax relief
Missourians could soon see the biggest tax overhaul in the state in nearly 90 years under a proposal that received first-round approval in the Senate this week. Senate Bill 26, sponsored by Sen. Will Kraus, would cut personal and corporate state income taxes while freeing up capital for job creators across the state. The last time the state Legislature cut income taxes was in 1921.
