THRIVE NETWORKING-WITH-A-CAUSE

Join the women of THRIVE to meet friends, make business connections, and support a great non-profit, The Salem Pantry on Thursday, May 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 220 Highland Ave., Salem. Check out their new location and warehouse while learning about the organizations plans for the future, along with long-term goals in building a food security safety net across the North Shore. The Chamber is thrilled to announce the hiring of its new Event Manager

As the Chamber's newest team member, Mariah Lyle has hit the ground running and is excited to bring people together through well-executed events that support the business community. Previously, Mariah spent several years in Gordon College's President’s Office, most recently as Executive Assistant to the President. She brings that experience—along with a sharp eye for detail and a genuine love of connecting people—to creating and managing engaging events.

A Pennsylvania native, she earned her degree in Communication Arts with a business concentration from Gordon College and fell in love with the North Shore. She lives in Beverly with her husband and enjoys beach days and exploring New England.

Newburyport Bank announced the appointment of three accomplished leaders to its Board of Directors: Wayne Capolupo, Marianne Hatheway, and Frank G. Cousins, Jr. Each brings deep experience in governance, financial services, infrastructure, and community leadership that will support the Bank’s continued growth and mission.


Together, Capolupo, Hatheway, and Cousins bring complementary skills and

experience spanning infrastructure development, federal banking regulation, enterprise risk management, and public-sector leadership. Salem State University Cyber Range will offer a free webinar on Wednesday, May 20, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

This session delivers a practical, technical overview of the AI threat landscape, specifically for smaller organizations.
