The Chamber's 106th Annual Dinner & Distinguished Leaders Awards will be held Thursday, Nov. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Danversport.

5th ANNUAL SALUTE TO VETERANS BREAKFAST

Join the Chamber along with Premier Sponsor Wellpoint and many other generous members as we honor and celebrate the region's veterans.


This year's Minuteman Service Award will be presented to Lt Colonel (Ret.) Dick and Christine Moody, founders of Operation Troop Support. This Danvers-based nonprofit has shipped more than 1.5 million care packages to troops all over the world.

Keynote Speaker Kris Paronto was part of the elite security team guarding the CIA annex during the 2012 Benghazi attack. His story is captured in the book and movie “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.” Paronto will offer a firsthand account of what happened on the ground during the 2012 Benghazi attack.

How do you view business conditions as we begin the fourth quarter of 2025? Share your opinions by taking the October Business Confidence Index (BCI) survey.


The business confidence survey is sponsored by the North Shore Chamber of Commerce and Associated Industries of Massachusetts. The two organizations publish the regional index to provide a real-time measure of how confident North Shore employers are about hiring, capital investments and general business conditions.

NORTH SHORE BANK TO HOST FREE SHRED DAY

North Shore Bank invites customers and members of the community to a free Shred Day on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the 248 Andover St., Peabody, office. 


Residents can reduce their risk of identity theft by bringing old mail, receipts, statements or bills, cancelled checks, pay stubs, medical records, or any other unwanted paper documents containing personal or confidential information and shredding them safely and securely for free. A professional document destruction company will be on site in the bank’s parking lot and can accept up to two boxes of documents per person. No appointment is necessary.

The Massachusetts State Treasury’s Small Business Initiative (SBI) team, in collaboration with M&T Bank, will host an upcoming Small Business Empowerment Series.

 

These free webinars are designed to equip small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with practical tools for success. The information will be presented in English with live interpretation in Spanish.
