Amirah provides resources to women exiting commercial sex trade. Dr. Mary Speta, executive director, will provide a brief overview of the nonprofit’s work to provide aftercare, resources and opportunities to adult women who’ve experienced sexual exploitation. Donations of hand lotions; paper products including tissues, toilet paper, paper towels; and Lysol or Clorox wipes will be collected, along with gift cards.

WELLSPRING TO HOST CELESONG 2026 FUNDRAISING EVENT

Wellspring House will present Celesong 2026 on Friday, May 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Shalin Liu Performance Center, 37 Main St., Rockport. This special evening will feature an intimate Nashville-style songwriters' round with nationally acclaimed artists Darrell Scott, Beth Nielsen Chapman, and Marcus Hummon.
Emceed by Billy Costa, the evening includes storytelling, live music, and a live auction. All proceeds benefit Wellspring House, which serves more than 2,000 North Shore families and individuals each year through housing, education, and workforce development program.
