The April meeting of the Chamber's Small Business Council will feature Nate Sirois of Balsam Technologies on, "Cybersecurity Threats in 2026: What Small Businesses Need to Know."
Learn how to protect your small business from growing cybersecurity threats. This workshop will cover strategies to reduce risk, strengthen defenses, and stay ahead of attacks, while improving data security, system reliability, and long-term business resilience.

Join the women of THRIVE to meet friends, make business connections, and support a great non-profit.
Amirah provides resources to women exiting commercial sex trade. Dr. Mary Speta, executive director, will provide a brief overview of the nonprofit’s work to provide aftercare, resources and opportunities to adult women who’ve experienced sexual exploitation, sex trafficking and prostitution.
Donations of hand lotions; paper products including tissues, toilet paper, paper towels; and Lysol or Clorox wipes will be collected, along with gift cards.

THE CUT TO HOST F/V LILY JEAN BENEFIT CONCERT

In response to the recent loss of the F/V Lily Jean and her crew, The Cut will host the Lily Jean Benefit Concert, “A Day of Music and Stories,” on Sunday, May 17, from noon to 9 p.m. This full-day festival of live music, storytelling, and community remembrance will honor the lives of the crew and raise funds to directly support the families left behind.
One hundred percent of funds raised through sponsorships, ticket sales, the silent auction, and raffle donations will be distributed to the Lily Jean Fund, administered by the Gloucester Fishing Community Preservation Fund.

From road races and golf tournaments to signature galas, the YMCA of the North Shore offers many levels of sponsor participation to assist in raising funds so it can continue to be a vital resource for local families.
Sponsorships and registration are now open for this year's nine road races and three golf tournaments across the region.
