Multi-Chamber Mixer at 3D Sideouts on Nov. 16
3D Sideouts Sports Tavern will host a Multi-Chamber Mixer on Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 5:00-7:00 pm at 4018 Roberts Rd. in Island Lake. Enjoy food, cocktails, music and networking with BACC members and those from other Chambers including: Cary-Grove, Crystal Lake, Lake Zurich, McHenry and Wauconda.

Ladies and Gentlemen are invited to join the BACC Women's Biz Net for a lunch program and networking on Thursday, Jan. 19 from 11:30 am-1:00 pm at The Club at Wynstone in North Barrington.
Enjoy networking, a delicious lunch and a presentation from Andrea Herran of Focus HR Consulting about "How to Build Relationships in a Hybrid World." Cost to attend is $35 for BACC members and $40 for nonmembers, which includes networking, lunch and the program. Program sponsor is Retreat Care Group, PLLC.

BACC is seeking donations for our Virtual Silent Auction Scholarship Fundraiser to begin Thursday, Jan. 12 and conclude after our Annual Business Celebration on Thursday, Jan. 26 from 5:30-9:30 pm at Wild Onion Brewery in Lake Barrington.

Time is Running Out to Update Your BACC Listing for the 2023 Resource Directory
Production of the 2023 Barrington Area Regional Magazine & Resource Directory is underway! Please check and update your listing as soon as possible at www.BarringtonChamber.com. What appears on the website is what will appear in the new Directory, which will be mailed in late January to over 20,000 area residents and businesses.
Your membership dues must be up to date to be included in the directory.

Businesses in Cook County can now apply for two grants:
The Cook County Small Business Source Grow Grant provides $10,000 grants to small businesses, coupled with advising and coaching services, to foster their recovery and resiliency from the pandemic, scale their operations and thrive. For details CLICK HERE.

The Illinois Dept. of Commerce Small Business Development Centers provide information, confidential business guidance, training, and other resources for start-ups and existing small businesses. Services include: One-on-one business advice and management assistance; Help with the development of business plans, accessing market information and business financing programs, assistance with financial analysis and planning, and more. Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Offers Vaccinations and Booster Shots
COVID-19 vaccine appointments for anyone five years and older are now being accepted at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, 450 W. Hwy. 22 in Barrington. Anyone 6 months old and up can get vaccinated. Booster shots are also available to anyone 5 years and older who received both doses of the Pfizer, Moderna vaccine five months ago, or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine two months ago. A second booster shot is available for people 50 and older and immunocompromised people 12 and older four months after their first booster shot.
