The Word Is Out!
It's the moment you've been waiting for! Beginning October 1, the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce will be joining forces to strengthen our voices in advocacy, promote our destination and unite our community from Bay to Beach. We are excited to share we will be known as  Amplify Clearwater!

A Spotlight On... Clear Sky on Cleveland
The global bistro Clear Sky on Cleveland was opened by Dan Shouvlin in July of 2017, and Chef Bobby Shirley has been the talented resident Chef at Clear Sky Restaurants for the past 8 years. Clear Sky on Cleveland brings a culinary experience with a world class menu and unique décor to downtown Clearwater. They have a lot going on outside of their astounding quality, ambiance, and menu.
For starters they have the best Happy Hour around: Monday through Sunday 2PM-6PM with ½ off drinks! They are also expanding their drink menu to include a full bar, and celebrating Hospitality Month in September by offering 25% off to individuals in the hospitality industry. Their lunch specials can't be beat (you gotta try the 'pick 2' option)! Don’t forget your tickets to their comedy show on September 23 at 8:00 (tickets can be bought at Clear Sky on Cleveland)– the last two shows have sold out! Consider renting the Garden Room event venue for your next shower, rehearsal dinner, birthday, anniversary, meeting, seminar, or charity event. Enjoy their impeccable menu with distinguished service while surrounded by Mediterranean décor and a soothing water fountain. Accommodations for up to 70 guests during breakfast, lunch, or dinner. See their full menu at www.clearskyoncleveland.com, and enjoy cuisine from around the globe! Make Clear Sky your 'Go-To' place after a LONG Monday at the office!

Preparing For the Storm
The threat of tropical storm or hurricane conditions impacting Florida from Dorian has increased as the disturbance heads for Puerto Rico. We encourage you to take time to prepare before the storm and know where to go for critical updates during storm season.
Minimum Wage Adjustments Proposed
There is a push to increase minimum wage to $15 an hour on several fronts. The Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association opposes such a drastic increase as it would be devastating to the hospitality industry, which is critical in the Sunshine State.
