The Greater West Broward (GWB) Council is better and stronger because of David N. Reece. As the new Chair this year, his willingness to step up, take the lead and grow the “Sawgrass” community is commendable. Affairs Council Meeting

Discussions on critical legislative issues affecting the region took center stage at the Government Affairs Council meeting on Tuesday, April 4. This included the local preference restriction bill and the new committee bill proposing cuts to state funding for the Visit Florida tourism-marketing agency. Attendees also covered other significant issues related to affordable housing, funding for arts and culture, and economic and workforce development.

Sweat 440 Celebrates Their New Business Opening in Deerfield Beach

Sweat 440, 40-minute Group fitness workout center, held its ribbon cutting on Saturday April 1 in Deerfield Beach. City Commissioners Michael Hudak, Todd Drosky, and Gigi Chazu, Business Development Manager, welcomed their new business.
