The Global Event Center at First Baptist Church was buzzing with excitement on
Friday, March 31, as over 200 attendees gathered to honor Eugenia Duncan Ellis as the Downtowner of the Year. As President/CEO of Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale, Eugenia has been the driving force behind the growth and vitality of downtown Fort Lauderdale, transforming it into a must-see destination for both locals and visitors alike. With her outstanding leadership and community-building skills, she has created a vibrant and growing downtown economy. The event was a true celebration of Eugenia's achievements and contributions, and a testament to the power of visionary leadership.
