The Chamber Celebrates the Arts

in Broward County

The Chamber’s monthly breakfast, hosted by the Downtown Council, was held at the Tower Club Fort Lauderdale. This month’s topic was “Cultural Arts Impact on our Economy: Celebrating the arts in Broward County”. Industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries gathered to discuss why cultural arts are such a critical part of our lives, work, and tourism economy. The Downtown Business Council represents our urban core's collective strength and resilience. Together, we are paving the way for a vibrant and prosperous future. Rebel Wine Bar Hosts OPWMU Meeting

The Oakland Park/Wilton Manors Uptown Council meeting was held at Rebel Wine Bar. Over 30 people in attendance got valuable insight and strategy for the soaring cost-for-living scenarios in South Florida from our speakers; Dr. Ned Murray, Associate Director at FIU and Ralph Stone, Director of Housing Finance and Community Development. Thank you to the hosts, Larissa Castelluber and Rebel Wine Bar, for organizing a great event!

Cabernet and Connections in Deerfield Beach

The Deerfield Beach Council hosted their first Cabernet and Connections on Tuesday, June 27 at the Wyndham Beach Resort Hotel. Twenty businesses attended and the networking was robust. This effort was spearheaded by Audra Durham, Rick Tobin, and Glen Benjamin. Having an evening event allowed those who can't attend a morning event to enjoy networking. The Deerfield Beach Council is looking forward to adding other events soon.
