Great Turnout for the Social Impact Breakfast

The Social Impact Council’s recent Impact Breakfast was a success. We thank our guest speaker, Kristina DaSilva, Chief Operating Officer at Hands On Broward, for leading the discussion on "The Power of Civic Participation.Also, thanks to Lan Infotech and the Coaching Network for sponsoring this event. We will continue

to create social good.

Deerfield Beach Coffee & Connections

Over 40 businesses attended the Deerfield Beach Coffee and Connections meeting on

Tuesday, February 28. City Manager, David Santucci, addressed local businesses on a referendum that will develop a large parcel on 10th Street in Deerfield Beach.


David Santucci, is garnering support for the March 14 Referendum. Shall the City of Deerfield Beach sell the approximately 3.7-acre property located at 1045 SW 11 Way to MBA Development. Partners of Florida, LLC for $6.5 million for the purpose of creating a multi-use development with workforce housing, retail, and restaurant space, a hotel, green space, and other public amenities?

OPWMU Board Meeting

The Oakland Park Wilton Manors Uptown Board Meeting was held at The Grill

at Calvary Chapel on Tuesday, February 28. In attendance were John Jones, Chair

of the Council, and Bill Feinberg. Also in attendance were presenters Kathy Koch, President of Ambit Communications and Brent Albertson, Senior VP of Development/BBX Logistics Properties.


MBA purposes paying the full appraisal prices for the property, $6.5 million in community contributions for improvement to surrounding parks, roadways, transportation networks and other infrastructure improvement.
