We celebrated our newest cohort of Leadership Fort Lauderdale graduates at the Riverside Hotel on May 15. It was a joyous occasion as loved ones joined in commemorating their accomplishments, and graduates took the stage to share stories about their experiences during the program.
We applaud the hard work of Class 29, who have demonstrated their commitment to personal growth and community development. Congratulations once again, Class 29! See more pictures on our blog.

Leadership Fort Lauderdale is a nine-month program which equips business leaders with community-based leadership skills and deep insights into local issues. With over 700 alumni, the program fosters strong networks among participants. It comprises eight full-day sessions and is held every second Tuesday from October to May. The curriculum covers various topics like local history, government, law, environment, tourism, education, healthcare, business, and communications.

Broward County: High Growth Forecasted for Hospitality, Health Services and Financial Sectors Over Next 5 Years | |

These findings were shared by Dr. Aaron Schmerbeck at our Board of Directors' luncheon on May 17. Dr Schmerbeck, who was commissioned by CareerSource Broward to conduct the Economic and Labor Market Analysis, also created an economic dashboard to help employers and businesses better direct their resources.

The Deerfield Beach Council open house, sponsored by LAN Infotech, took place on May 17. Over 37 attendees, representing a diverse range of businesses from Fort Lauderdale to Boca Raton, gathered to connect, network,
and explore new opportunities.
LAN Infotech President & CEO Michael Goldstein, along with his team members Glen Benjamin and David Reece, were present at the event which provided businesses a valuable opportunity to enhance their visibility
and forge meaningful connections within the region.

A record number of over 60 attendees attended our Chamber Orientation on May 12.
