Steve Yokeley, Realtor at Group3 Real Estate and former Mount Airy City Commissioner, has taken the role of Interim President & CEO of the Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Yokeley is a former Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors member and has served in various capacities as a volunteer within the Chamber and community, so we welcome him with a sense of familiarity and open arms.
As we continue our search for a permanent Chamber President & CEO, join us in welcoming Steve Yokeley to this essential role! He's a great leader and we're excited to have him!

The Chamber's Excellence in Business Awards event is just around the corner (March 23, 2023). Now is the time to submit your nominations for the ten very distinguished awards which are dedicated to recognizing those unsung heroes and extraordinary rockstars of the local community.
Once the nomination process is complete, the Chamber Awards Committee will select the winners, and they will be publicly announced before the event on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023. All winners will be recognized at the Excellence in Business Awards on March 23rd at Cross Creek Country Club.

All creative artists and crafters interested in becoming an Autumn Leaves Festival craft vendor for the 2023 festival are encouraged to submit a Vendor Interest Form to be reviewed by the selection committee.
The Autumn Leaves Festival is a juried craft show and we take pride in our selection process. We want the best of the best to be a part of the festival so festival goers can experience the best crafts and talent from across this region of the United States.

The first Business After Hours of 2023 was hosted at Cross Creek Country Club on January 26, 2023 and it was a blast! Cross Creek Country Club is also the first host to put a Game Night spin on this tried and true networking event, and that really stepped it up a notch. Networking, games, and good food really go hand in hand. Well done, Cross Creek Country Club!

On Friday, January 27, 2023 Chamber Membership Director, Cristie Andrews, hosted her annual Ambassador Recruitment event to gather the best of the best Chamber of Commerce volunteers. Nearly 30 Chamber of Commerce business owners and leaders attended, enjoyed a warm breakfast prepared by the Hampton Inn of Mount Airy, and learned about how the Ambassador Program can produce business leads and help you make lasting connections in the community.
