New Classes Added for Summer

Long Arm Quilting with Rulers

Learn more about how to long-arm quilt using a pre-printed panel for basic free-motion designs and ruler work patterns. Hands-on using the Bernina Q-series machines in our shop. We will be using the BERNINA Q24 Pro Series, the Q16 Plus Studio Frame, and the Q20 Sit-Down versions. If you already own a BERNINA Quilter, we are happy to offer you these classes too! Please contact us if you already have a Q-Series machine or if you might be interested in purchasing one.

Kids Mini Sewing Camp

Sewing camps are for children 9 years-13 years with no sewing experience required! First classes are $200, and every additional class is only $175 (These do not include the book or sewing supplies from previous lessons). Classes are three days and meet August 1st-3rd 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day. The class includes a personal sewing kit, instruction book, thread, and fabric. We will also provide a BERNINA sewing machine for a camper to use during class, although the camper may bring their own BERNINA machine to class if he/she owns their own machine. Make an outfit for your 18" doll, pajama shorts sizes 5-14, hair scrunchi, & extras as time allows.

June Mini Retreat Weekend

June 9th 10th and 11th our classroom will be available for you to reserve a table to get those projects finished in our space with our help close by! Just $5.00 per table/per day for this opportunity to sew with us and other customers who have taken classes or just need a little help with their quilts or kits to get that boost of confidence to finish! Call to RSVP with your $5!

Beginner Machine Embroidery

Home Sweet Home Beginner Machine Embroidery Class June 23rd and 24th from 10am-3pm $50 Learn how to make adorable projects with appliqué! This project is perfect for the beginner who wants to tackle a fun project for the first time or even if you have some experience. For beginner embroidery machine owners, explore hooping and appliqué in the hoop! We will be making these little blocks to make a quilt project a little at a time and learn the proper hooping and trimming techniques for a beautiful finished project. Teacher Nancy Laffey
