Your Change can make a Change
Illinois State and Illinois Wesleyan students are looking for your change. They are raising $20K toward the $95K it takes to build the Collegiate House. Their major fundraiser each year is Trick or Treat for Change on October 31st. Students will be out collecting change 5:30-8:00 p.m. during regular trick or treat hours, in groups of 4-6, in costume, and with IDs for their collegiate Habitat chapters. Please be generous if they knock on your door and help them make a change in our community!

Have a community group that would like to help the students with their efforts? Meet at the Hanson Student Center on Illinois Wesleyan's campus and they'll sign you up.
Oct 28 - TIPS from Fat Jacks
Fat Jacks Gives Back. Join us for Happy Hour on October 28 and manager Joe Scienski will generously donate all his tips from 4-8 p.m. to Habitat McLean. And not just on beverages. They have a robust pub menu, appetizers are 1/2 price, and he's covering the tips for his wait staff, too, so every dollar you tip goes into houses built right here in McLean County. Let's raise a toast to community partners coming together to do good.
Families welcome.
We're also happy to report that Tito's Handmade Vodka offered to make a contribution to our Fat Jacks Gives Back night. They are kicking in $500! Thanks so much to Ali & Randi for getting on board with this fundraiser.
