The Importance of Staying Up To Date on Your Donor's Activities
Are you focused on finding your next major gift? Are you seeking new ways to engage your prospects and donors? We all know it’s crucial to stay up to date with your donors so you can engage with them at the right time and with the right ask. Knowing this, it’s still difficult to find the time to manually research each donor of interest and keep track of their activity.

Researching each interesting donor by hand can be time-consuming and inefficient. That’s why iWave created Smart Alerts!

IDEA Career Fair - June 24th
IDEA Career Fair: Connecting Recruiters and Aspiring Leaders
Friday, June 24, 2022
1:00 - 2:30 pm

As fundraisers navigate their careers during this era of great transformation, we often hear from recruiters representing clients both near and far. What are best practices for working with these firms? How can you maximize the influence of these professionals to find your next opportunity? If you have these questions, and more, please join AFP Chicago for our first-ever IDEA Career Fair.

Open to members and non-members, this two-part virtual event will feature a panel discussion of recruiters followed by networking breakouts led by search firms. We hope you’ll gain some insight on how to work with these impactful partners. Fundraisers from communities underrepresented in leadership roles are highly encouraged to attend.

AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course
Wednesdays, 9:00 - 11:30 am
September 7, 14, 21, 28, October 12, 19, 26

The AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course provides new fundraisers—those with up to four years of professional experience—with an intensive introduction into the building blocks of effective practice. To design this 16-hour course, experienced fundraising professionals evolved AFP’s introductory programs to address the real-world needs and challenges non-profit organizations face every day.

This intensive program will provide an overview of skills, techniques, and program components for individuals with 0-4 years of fundraising experience or a great “back to the basics” for veteran fundraisers. Read more...
