THIS WEEK'S GOOD NEWS

February 22, 2024

The Arts and Culture Department has filled a key vacancy on their team with the onboarding of a new Community Gallery Manager, John Dickinson, who started work this week!

Over the last few months, the City's Benefits and Wellness Program Supervisor has been offering a chair cardio/fitness class at GCCC and Salvador Perez (free for members) – the class is so popular there's now a waiting list to attend!

The Environmental Services Division has received a delivery of five new automated side-loader trucks to support their daily trash/recycling collection operations.

A FEW MORE HIGHLIGHTS

✓  The Santa Fe Police Department screened a lot of great candidates at their recent rapid hire event and now is moving forward with seven qualified new hires for their team!

✓  Two staff members from the Southside Santa Fe Public Library Branch are participating in a special training opportunity, "Transforming Teen Services," offered by the New Mexico State Library.
