Holiday Parade next week Thursday evening

It's time to return together for the holiday lights, sights, and sounds of the Downtown Marshfield Holiday Parade! join us along South Central Avenue between 2nd Street and 9th Street on Thursday, November 18th at 6:30 p.m.

City parking lots are located along Maple Avenue and Chestnut Avenue (West 2nd Street will be closed from Central Avenue to Spruce Avenue to allow for a float lineup, with Auxiliary Police letting traffic through on Chestnut Avenue.)

If you're not able to join us, you can watch it from anywhere LIVE with Marshfield Broadcasting (MFLD-TV). Watch us locally on Charter Cable Channel 989, streaming on mfldtv.org website, over-the-top tv devices Roku, Apple-TV or Amazon Fire Stick and Marshfield Broadcasting Facebook page.

Marshfield Broadcasting and Main Street Marshfield are working together with several local volunteers to make this live video presentation of the parade available for everyone.

The program will be replayed throughout the holiday season.

Important information about lead in water
Marshfield Utilities found elevated levels of lead in drinking water in some homes/buildings. The homes that exceeded the action level were homes that have lead services.

Lead can cause serious health problems, especially for pregnant women and young children. Please see this link, here, for more information.

Marshfield's 150th
Celebrate 150 years of Marshfield History by helping to honor 150 amazing people who has made an impact in Marshfield over the past 150 years, no matter how big or small.

They can be a current Marshfield mover and shaker, or someone from our storied past. The organizers of the 150th are hoping to gather a wide variety of people, so think of those with influence on education, government, religion, business, athletics, arts or community in Marshfield.
