CoAEMSP Visits with Educators in Michigan and Wisconsin

Dr. Mike Miller, Assistant Director with CoAEMSP, met with the Paramedic educators in Michigan on November 14, 2023. An invitation was extended from the State Office of EMS to provide an update.

Jennifer Anderson Warwick, Accreditation Consultant with CoAEMSP, met with the Wisconsin technical colleges on November 28, 2023, in Pewaukee, Wisc., to foster collaboration and share best practices.

Mike and Jennifer shared recent updates and trends and participated in a short Q&A with the respective groups. Topics of conversation included voluntary accreditation for AEMT programs, ACCREDITCON, the webinar recording with Kevin Hazzard, author of American Sirens, Program Director Focus Group, international accreditation services, site visitor applications, annual report, and the revised CAAHEP Standards.

Thank you to the educators in Michigan and Wisconsin for hosting us virtually and in-person.
