Help decorate our Sanctuary for our Christmas worship services by donating a plant in honor or memory of someone. Order online, pick up an order form at the Info Desk on Sunday or call the church office at 608-338-0545. Orders must be received by Sunday, November 20. 
Support Bethel ' s Thanksgiving Meal
Bring your desserts this Sunday and Monday

Bethel Homeless Support Services will serve a Thanksgiving Dinner on Tuesday, November 22. First Church is lending our support by supplying the desserts for the meal. If you can help with this effort please bring your homemade pie or other dessert to First Church on either Sunday, November 20 or Monday, November 21 (9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.).

Reserve Your " Christmas Carol " Tickets Now

As part of our Victorian-themed Luncheon and Parlor Concert on Sunday, December 11, we have the opportunity to buy tickets to see the Children 's Theater of Madison 's production of "A Christmas Carol " in a 2:30 p.m. matinee performance at the Overture Center that afternoon. Tickets cost $22 each and must be reserved by Monday, November 28.
Wisconsin Board of Ordained Ministry Adopts Statement

After prayerful deliberation the following statement was edited and adopted by the Wisconsin Board of Ordained Ministry.

We offer our condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Ramona Johannes , who died on Wednesday, October 26.
We share our prayers of love and support with the family and friends of Rita Kreitz , who died Wednesday, November 9. There will be a memorial service for Rita on Saturday, November 26 at 11 a.m., at Gunderson West Funeral Home, 7435   University Ave., Middleton.
Decorate the Church for Advent
Monday & Tuesday, November 21 & 22, 1-3:30 p.m.
Help with the annual Hanging of the Greens as we decorate the church for Advent and Christmas. Come either day or both days -many hands will make the job merry and bright!

Circuit Conference Meeting

Our District Superintendent, Scott Carlson, has changed the format of the annual church conference by combining the Madison Circuit of United Methodist churches   for a joint meeting. First Church members are invited to attend.   The meeting will include doing the business of our   Church Conference including reports and items that need to be voted on.

Our Food Pantry, Community Outreach Breakfast and Come As You Are Worship are on a seasonal break. Programs will resume Monday, November 28.
