Announcement! The Chamber & Visitor Center Is Moving!


The Chamber staff is very excited to announce that the Chamber and Visitor Center soon will be located on Bothell's Main Street! We're finalizing details now but our official move will take place at the end of March. We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude and send a special thank you to the Country Village Shops for treating us so well these many years - it has been a pleasure to be here.

We look forward to continuing our commitment to provide many services and resources to businesses, visitors, and residents in the Bothell and Kenmore communities from our new location. 
Please note: Our physical offices/visitor center will be closed March 26 - April 2 as we move and re-establish our offices and center. We will be available intermittently via email and phones as able.

Please stop by and see us in April. Our new space is located upstairs in the Mills Building above Music & Arts. Guests will find our door located on Main Street between Music & Arts and the Se-lyn Boutique & Crystal Shoppe. Our new address is: 10120 Main Street, Suite 201, Bothell (map). We look forward to seeing you all there!

City Issues Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
The City of Bothell's Finance Department prepares a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) annually, as required by state law. While Moody's continues to assign Bothell a high rating of Aa2, the most recent CAFR explains how the City's financial stability is being impacted by the increasing cost of public safety and security.  Bothell's CAFR has earned the Government Finance & Officers Association (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting annually since 2002.

Walk, run, or sit and eat pie (their words - they call it their 0K!) at the Family Jewels 5K and help raise money for student scholarships and raise awareness of testicular cancer. Pie is provided!

The Family Jewels 5K is presented by the Jaimeson Jones Memorial Scholarship  organization that provides scholarships to families affected by childhood cancer, and helps save lives by educating about early detection of testicular cancer.

Community Transit Introduces Community Transportation Forum And Walking Tour, Plus New Late Sunday Trips To Seven Routes

Join Community Transit and the City of Bothell for an engaging and interactive discussion on active transportation (bicycling, walking, riding transit) in Canyon Park. 

Keynote Speaker/Facilitator: Mark Fenton, Public health, planning and transportation expert, and former host of the "America's Walking" series on PBS television, who is trying to help America find its way to more active and livable communities. Participants will be led on an optional 1-mile walk... Full Information

New Late Sunday Trips: Community Transit is adding new late Sunday trips on its most popular local bus routes starting March 11. The new trips are part of the agency's ongoing expansion of bus service following a 2015 voter-approved transit expansion measure. In addition to the later Sunday service, trip times on some routes will be adjusted due to congestion or to help with transit connections. This weekend's changes are detailed here.

Volunteers Needed For North Creek Forest Work Parties
North Creek Forest, 19978 112th Ave. NE, Bothell

Volunteer work parties at the North Creek Forest provide great networking opportunities, an introduction to restoration ecology, and a fun way to spend time in the great outdoors!
Tools and gloves are provided at the events and activities range from invasive species removal, applying mulch, planting biodiverse, drought resistant, fast growing, native species in the cleared areas  - and other tasks as directed by the team.  Volunteers should dress in weather-appropriate attire and should be 12 years in age or older (volunteers ages 12-15 need to be accompanied by an adult).  Snacks and refreshments are provided!  Information
