CFSA Remembers Homer Cook

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our colleague, Homer Cook, from the Office of Hotline and Investigations. Homer, who was completing his Master's in Social Work, was passionate about helping families and peers. Colleagues fondly recall Homer willingly taking on assignments that others might shy away from, working overtime to support youth across programs. He had a unique ability to engage with youth and families, leaving a lasting impact. Director Matthews remembers Homer fondly for his strong work ethic and advocacy. During this tough time, support each other. The INOVA Employee Assistance Program is available for those significantly impacted by this loss, providing 24/7 support. Log in at Inova.org/eap (Username: DCGOV, Password: DCGOV).
