Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Each October, the world comes together to honor the lives of those touched by breast cancer. At CFSA, for the children and families we serve and our own staff and our families, we know the importance of awareness and early detection. The Health Services Administration (HSA) set up a Breast Cancer Remembrance Board within the Office of Well Being (OWB) suite on the first floor. Please consider signing a ribbon in the name of your own personal breast cancer hero.

CFSA Recognizes National Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) is an opportunity to bring the issue to the forefront, advocate for change, celebrate survivors, and mourn those who lost their lives. Please stop at the tables outside the Office of Well Being (OWB) on the 1st floor to grab a purple lapel pin, other swag, and DVAM resources.
OWB has hosted events to help us all do our part to address domestic violence. Scroll down to “Events & Announcements” to see the presentations. For questions, please contact Domestic Violence Specialist, Sarita Freeman (Sarita.Freeman@dc.gov), or Domestic Violence Services Supervisor, Tiffany Williams (Tiffany.Williams4@dc.gov).
