During our CFSA Tailgate event, staff from different administrations came together to enjoy food, music, and camaraderie. The video also includes acknowledgments and celebrations of various CFSA teams and individuals in different categories, such as tech gurus, money managers, assistants, healthcare providers, trainers, and more. CFSA's Office Realignment


In FY23, CFSA successfully realigned its organization on October 1st, aligning with our commitment to Keeping DC Families Together:

  1. The Office of Out-of-Home Support is now the Office of In-Home and Out-of-Home Care, incorporating the Out-of-Home Clinical Case Management and Support Administration and the In-Home Clinical Case Management and Support Administration.
  2. The Office of Well-Being integrated the Older Youth Empowerment Administration, becoming the Program Services and Supports Administration.
  3. Entry Services transitioned into the Office of Hotline and Investigations, including the Investigations Administration and Hotline and Support Services Administration.
  4. The Office of Community Partnerships evolved into the Office of Thriving Families.

New Episodes of Tuesday Talk with the Director

 

Welcome to "Tuesday Talk with the Director," our bi-weekly video series where Director Robert L. Matthews explores trends impacting CFSA. Episode 14 features Leonora Hansford, Community Services Supervisor. She discusses the "Keeping DC Families Together" initiative, emphasizing community co-design and a revamped 2-1-1 line. In Episode 15, Director Matthews chats with Alysia Greaves, the new Program Manager for Partners for Kids and Families. They unveil the program's expansion beyond foster care, driven by staff input, and announce an upcoming drive. Alysia also shares fun facts.   • Resource Guide with tips, toolkits, therapeutic support, and insurance carrier information.
  • Weekly psychoeducational groups to support emotional health. Groups are led by Onyx Therapy Group, CFSA's dedicated STS support resource. Continuing Education Credits are available; register in FACES. Questions? Email CWTA.Training@dc.gov.
