Sign Policy

On June 1, a new Sign Policy went in to effect. There have been infractions from realtors hosting open houses that may be unaware of the policy. If you have your home on the market, please notify your realtor of the Sign Policy.

Also, if you are having a yard/garage sale or hosting an event at your home that requires directional signage, please review the policy.

Grounds Service staff will be removing signage that violates the policy.
Barking dogs

Be considerate
Having a pet is a personal choice, but when barking becomes a nuisance it can involve a lot of other people. Be a considerate pet owner and everyone will be happy, including your pet!

The neighbor's dog is barking all the time. Can something be done about the constant noise?
The first step should always be to contact your neighbor and let them know their dog is barking. If that does not work:

Report it to the Gilbert PD
Yes, barking dogs are addressed by the Gilbert Police Department and the Code Compliance Department on a complaint basis, the Municipal Code section about barking dogs reads as follows:
"It is unlawful to keep or harbor any dog which by frequent, habitual or continued barking, yelping or howling shall cause an annoyance or inconvenience to a neighbor or to people passing to and from upon the public streets or sidewalks. No summons and complaint shall be issued nor shall there a conviction for violation of this subsection unless there are at least two complaining witnesses from separate households who shall have signed such complaint and shall have testified at trial".  See Municipal Code Section 6.2

File a Complaint Form with the Association
The Association can begin the violation process on your behalf when you complete and submit the PRCA Complaint Form. Please note that per Arizona law (A.R.S. 33-1242 and A.R.S. 33-1803) any complaint lodged with the Association will NOT remain anonymous. Should the party accused of the violation request the name of the person who complained, the Association is required to it to them.

Utility Bill Information
The Town of Gilbert has reviewed the fiscal health of the water, wastewater (including reclaimed water) and environmental services utilities and has determined that rate adjustments will be needed to keep the funds balanced with expenses over the new few years. There is an upcoming customer workshop to provide feedback and get a more detailed analysis on how the proposed rate changes may impact your utility bills. Yard of the Week

4642 South Calico Road in Mountain View was selected for Yard of the Week.

The renovation crew is continuing work at the Queen Creek entrance on the west side of Ranch House Parkway. The landscape update will eliminate turf from the excessively shaded areas, and include installation of 250 new plants, curbing, 125 tons of new granite, and an update of the existing irrigation components.

The summer granite area pre-emergent is scheduled to begin this week. The spray department is onsite for the next two weeks to apply the pre-emergent to all granite areas of the community. It will include all areas of the Master Association along with the Knolls and Village. You may notice a light yellow color in areas where the product is applied.
Additional Parking:  
Centennial Elementary has offered their parking lot for additional parking for the Farmer’s Market after 4 p.m. Follow signs leading to the parking lot.
