DHHS Snack Bar Looking for Volunteers

Parents, if you have a flexible work schedule and would like to get a chance to observe DHHS from the inside, sign up to serve in the after school snack bar once a month! Volunteers serve from 2:45-4:15 with a partner, selling snacks and having fun getting to see kids interact with each other in a student center space in the gym lobby. The snack bar also needs one person to shop and two subs who can serve on an as-needed basis. For more information or to sign up, contact Kim Goldsmith.

Homecoming Float Building Needs

1) Chaperones and 2) Food for Students!!

Our Homecoming float building is underway! This year's float building period is Thursday October 12th thru Thursday October 19th.

For those that do not know, float building is one of Druid Hills' oldest and most fun traditions. Each grade comes together to design and build a float to be a part of our Homecoming Parade that will take place at the school on Friday October 20th.

Each grade needs parent volunteers to chaperone and donate supplies, snacks, and meals.

Please encourage your kids to get involved with float building. It is a unique traditio at Druid Hills and offers a great opportunity for students to come together, so the more students we get to participate the better.

Parent-Teacher Conferences on October 19th

DHHS Parents and Guardians,

Students and teachers are finishing up the first nine weeks, so we are half way through the fall semester.

9 week grades will be posted to Infinite Campus and available on Parent Portal October 16th.

We will have our first parent teacher conferences on Thursday, October 19th from 5:00 - 7:00PM. Conferences will be offered in a hybrid model, so parents may sign up for face to face or virtual conferences. Teachers will email parents and guardians with additional information about signing up for a conference.

Seniors and Parents, graduation is on the Horizon!!! The DeKalb County School District would like your input on the ideal venue for graduation.
