Fueling You With Knowledge One Mile At A Time
A University Dialogue

GWRCCC will be gathering Universities and affiliated interested parties to talk about University insights  into how to make a cleaner DC - universities can play an important role and be an important partner to a lot of stakeholders; 
o n-campus alternative fuel-use -  universities can discuss successes,  road b lo cks and strategies; and s tudent engagement in local clean transit activities - DC has a lot of great tra nsit projects that students could learn more about . The first scheduled university discussion was with George Washington University's Environment & Energy Management Institute on November 29th.

2019 Opening Reception

Mark your calendar. GWRCCC's 2019 opening reception will be held on January 29th at 5:30pm at Washington Gas' new DC Wharf corporate office, 1000 Mai ne Avenue, SW, Suite 70 0, Washington, DC. Plan to attend
the event to network with fellow stakeholders, and to enjoy cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and the sweeping views of the city skyline.

November 10th - DC Circulator Bus Airs on MotorWeek and the Velocity Channel

MotorWeek aired a segment on the DC Electric Circulator Bus beginning on November 10 on PBS and subsequently on the Velocity Channel. Click to view the segment that included interviews with DC Department of Transportation's Jeffrey Bennett and GWRCCC Executive Director Ira Dorfman.

DDOT and its Circulator Bus won GWRCCC's 2018 Fleet Leadership Award for electric vehicles at our 25th Anniversary Awards Luncheon on September 25th.
