May any pain and suffering you hold be lightened as we look towards the future with hope, remembering Christ's promise for salvation. -Katie

God, grant peace to all of the migrants on the Mexico and US boarders; peace to all the men, women and children behind prison walls and in detention centers; peace to those who are sick and shut in this holiday season. I lend my prayer to all those throughout the generations that have prayed for and continue to pray for Peace on Earth. - Cyneatha

Wherever you are and whatever your life holds of joy or sorrow today, may you experience the Joy of Christ in your heart and home this Christmas season.  -Rhoda

Love came down at Christmas. God's most wonderful gift, wrapped in swaddling cloths. This season may you experience love in the innocence of a child, give love with a grateful heart and may you receive love from the extravagant God you meet in all your encounters. -Berni

The conversation focused on young, white males and the messages they receive about themselves influence their decisions and their futures.

Sister Care continues in Cuba

Brethren in Christ women in Cuba continue to follow-up with Sister Care teachings after the January 2018 Palmyra leadership training seminar taught by Carolyn Heggen and Rhoda Keener. Bonnie Klassen, MCC area director for Cuba, sent the above photo saying: " One of the pastors' wives wrote to tell me that they are meeting in different regions every month to support each other and care for each other."   The Palmyra women are requesting additional Sister Care teaching; Keener and Heggen are exploring this possibility with Klassen.

Winter 2019 Timbrel

In early 2018, MW USA partnered with unlock Ngenuity to offer an intercultural competency training for our board and staff. The theme for this issue, "Intentional Intercultural Relationships," stems from this training. According to our training with Chantelle Todman Moore, one of the best ways to cultivate intercultural competency is to engage in intercultural relationships. In this issue, we hear from several women who have experienced intercultural relationships, at home and abroad.
